Fabulously Free Friday! - Water, Water Everywhere!

Start off in Irving at the Irving Arts Center. Check out the 1:5 scale model of the Ten Thousand Springs Pavilion, the classic pavilion found within the Imperial Garden in the Forbidden City in Beijing.

Then run on down to Las Colinas and check out the Mustangs at William's Plaza! There are 9 bronze mustangs running across a pink granite and water fixture in the Plaza. It's a must-see for everyone!

Finish off this mini-vacation by heading down to Mandalay Canal in Las Colinas. There are shops and restaurants if you want to spend money (most only open during the week), but you can walk up and down the canal's cobblestone walkways for free!
To find Las Colinas and the Mandalay Canal, you can take the 635 (LBJ) Freeway to the Valley View exit east of the Dallas/Ft Worth International airport, and go south to O'Connor. Turn left on O'Connor and turn right on Las Colinas Boulevard. The canal is surrounded by street parking and parking garages.
